I made this last night and followed the recipe exactly with the exception of precooking the lasagna noodles which I don`t think made a difference. I didn’t read the recipe carefully and bought no-boil noodles, LOL, but it baked perfectly in 40 minutes.

I’ll buy a different brand next time but let me just say it turned out perfect! I was surprised it did not need to thaw. I love mushrooms in just about everything . We used no-boil noodles, and it turned out perfectly. This looks delicious. I also doubled the onions and garlic cloves. Next time I’ll just double the garlic, onion and seasonings (specially add more salt to the mushroom sauce). This looks amazing! It iwould be so much easier that way.

I won’t miss the meat in this one. Now you have your basic white sauce which forms the basis for so many other sauces from Bechamel to Veloute.If making a cheese sauce for lasagna, add 1 cup of grated tasty cheese. hmmmm tasty . Next time I’ll mix the ricotta and spinach together just to simplify the construction.

It was incredible! Lasagne is made with stacked layers of flat pasta. Next time I will try a little variation…broccoli, carrot, and zucchini in lieu of the 2nd pkg. We will definitely make it again only next time we will make an extra for the freezer its so good. More spaghetti sauce goes on top of the white cream sauce.

I also used gluten free lasagna noodles, no boil. I think next time I make it I will use a bechamel instead which is in fact the traditional Italian method of making lasagna.
